Kaveri Sangam - A 501 (c) (3) Non-profit organization
Kaveri Sangam is a non-religious, cultural and social organization that has served the South Indian Community of Western New York since 1975. This organization aims to integrate, coordinate, network and unite activities of all members belonging to this community.
The objective is to protect, maintain, preserve, and promote the rich culture, heritage, language, interest and history of all these groups. It is a place where people who share traditional values can unite and work together to learn about the immense diversity in this community.
The members meet to celebrate festivals such as Sankaranthi, New Year and Deepavali with entertainment programs, dinners and social hours. The Sangam has organized summer picnics as well. The Sangam has served to welcome and introduce new comers to the community. It provides a forum for children and adults to share, their artistic talents and linguistic skills to entertain the gathering as well as to stimulate personal development.
Volunteers serve as officers. We sincerely request and urge you to show your support by becoming members and contributing in any way you can in this endeavor. The membership is on a calendar basis and runs from January to December. Membership forms can be downloaded through the website.
